How do I ask the library to add an item to its collection?
I just learned of a new book/moviie that I want to read/watch, but I can't find it in the library catalog. How do I ask the library to acquire it?

You can request a purchase by visiting our library's website here: https://www.carverlib.org/services/request-a-purchase
If the library decides to acquire the material, you will automatically be placed on hold for it when it's ready.
If the library decides not to acquire the material, you may still be able to borrow it from another library in Minnesota through interlibrary loan*
*Please note that interlibrary loan service is suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic.
