What do I do if receiving an error message when requesting items?


When trying to request items, if a patron receives the message, "Your request could not be placed. You may already have a request for this item. If you have not already requested this item, please contact your local library for assistance," please let them know that this is the standard message that patrons receive if they already have an item on request OR their account is expired and needs to be renewed. For the fastest service, patrons may call to have the account renewed. Accounts may also be renewed by completing the online form (processing may take 1-2 days): https://griver.org/card-renewal
