Loan Periods/Returns

  • Most materials have a 3 week check out period.
  • All items may be returned at any GRRL library.
  • All entertainment DVDs and VHS videos have a one week check out window.
  • Interlibrary Loan items may have a special due date set by the owning library.
  • Book club kits check out just like books, but for six (6) weeks instead of three (3).

Item Checkout Limits

  • There is no limit to the number of physical items that may be checked out.
  • All fines and fees must be paid in full before borrowing additional materials.
  • Charges must be paid to $1 or less for eBook/eAudiobook/streaming; charges can be paid online https://griver.org/make-a-payment
    • OverDrive/Libby limits: 10 loans, 20 holds
    • Hoopla limits: 4 borrows per card per month

Renewals

  • Items may be renewed up to two times, as long as no one else has requested the item.
  • Patrons may call any library to renew over the phone: https://griver.org/locations
  • To Renew an Item: Log into Your Account at https://search.griver.org.
    • Click Checked Out Click box at left of each item to renew Click Renew button Items are renewed if the Due Date changes Items are not renewed if the following message appears: "One or more of your items did not renew. Please scroll down for details."
