Q. Do the libraries proctor exams?

This is where the details show up.

Answer

The University of Minnesota Libraries do not proctor in-person or online exams.

The University of Minnesota College for Continuing and Professional Studies proctors exams for U of M Independent and Distance Learning students.  Most exams are proctored at the St. Paul Exam Center (20 Ruttan Hall) but other locations are available.  To reserve a space or find additional information call (612) 625-9772

University of Minnesota instructors also have access to Proctorio, an automated proctoring tool that works with the Canvas learning management system.

Students who are not registered at the University of Minnesota have other options:

Adult Options in Education proctors online exams and paper/pencil exams for any students who want to come in.  Examinees do not have to be residents of the area.  The fee is $25 per session.  Advanced appointments are required by calling 952-988-5343.

Minnesota State has a proctoring service.  Here is a list of test proctoring locations throughout the state that are available to their students.  Included is information on how to make an appointment.
